About this grant

This grant will enable the Boston Private Industry Council to continue to convene and support a citywide partnership aimed at addressing and raising the visibility of the dropout crisis. Through this project, the grantee has successfully led and convened the Boston Youth Transitions Taskforce in developing programmatic interventions and advancing a policy agenda that strengthens districtwide efforts to improve outcomes for youth dropping out of school. During the next stage of this project, the grantee, in its role as convener of the Boston Youth Transitions Taskforce, will identify ways to design, support, build, and sustain a portfolio of educational pathways and options that meet the demands and needs of dropouts.
