About this grant
This renewal grant to Mott Community College will fund a six-week learning experience for 30 economically disadvantaged youth who are interested in entrepreneurship. The goal of the Teen CEO Initiative is to demonstrate the feasibility of operating an entrepreneurial education program for economically disadvantaged youth that provides them with a learning and leadership experience that will influence their future and identify their early potential to be entrepreneurs. During this summer camp, program participants will develop business plans and stage a showcase of their plans. The program will award entrepreneur certificates and stipends, and will provide access to seed capital to implement the best business concepts.
