About this grant
The program goal is to strengthen the community foundation field in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, the grantee will explore opportunities to increase its grantmaking fund and open it up to community foundations throughout Europe. Since its establishment in 1998, the grantee has supported the development of over 20 community foundations in Poland and gained a reputation as one of the leading philanthropy development organizations in Central and Eastern Europe. During the past grant period, the grantee provided grants and technical assistance to 38 community foundations, organized exchange visits and group meetings, and developed a wide variety of web-based learning resources for community foundations. The grantee is based in Warsaw, Poland.
