About this grant
The Flint River Corridor Alliance is composed of public, private, and nonprofit sector stakeholders interested in the restoration and redevelopment of the area around the Flint River. With support from this grant, the University of Michigan-Flint’s Center for Applied Environmental Research will provide the alliance with organizational development technical assistance and administrative support for one year. The center will provide assistance on issues of board development and governance, database and information management, marketing and communications, membership development, meeting management, fundraising, media relations, and workplan development. The Flint campus of the University of Michigan serves more than 6,500 full- and part-time students seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees. It places a priority on outreach and service to the community.
