About this grant
This grant will continue to support the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative in the advancement of the Kentucky Statewide Afterschool Network. This grantee is part of the sixth cohort of Mott-funded, statewide afterschool networks. In addition to continuing its core work building the field of afterschool, the Kentucky Statewide Afterschool Network will increase the quality of afterschool services for children and youth through the development and implementation of a Kentucky School-Age Quality Framework. The Kentucky School-Age Quality Framework will include the following components: program standards, core competencies, a school-age credential, trainer/training information resources, school-age regulation modifications, and accreditation and quality rating systems. Lessons learned and products will be shared with the national network of statewide afterschool networks.
