New Jersey Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the New Jersey School-Age Care Coalition which coordinates the New Jersey Statewide Afterschool Network. Through the network, the grantee intends to strengthen links among policymakers, funders, practitioners, and consumers to facilitate effective planning and efficient implementation of a coordinated system of high quality afterschool programs for children throughout New Jersey. Over the next three years, the network will continue to increase support for and awareness of afterschool programs and provide leadership and professional development activities, including training in the area of common core standards. This grantee is part of the sixth cohort of Mott-funded, statewide afterschool networks.
