About this grant
This grant will support the New Jersey School-Age Care Coalition, which coordinates the New Jersey Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue development of policy, partnerships, and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) engage New Jersey’s Afterschool Ambassadors Alumni to foster champions; 2) survey the afterschool field on the New Jersey Quality Standards for Afterschool to inform new quality and policy initiatives; 3) build the capacity, leadership and quality across New Jersey’s afterschool sector; and 4) support the development and distribution of the new afterschool program content in collaboration with the Foundation’s thematic partners.
