About this grant
The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, founded in 1991, is a land trust serving a five-county region in northwest lower Michigan. During the last grant period, the grantee launched a multiyear capital campaign to accelerate its work to protect and maintain important natural areas, scenic views, and farmland in its service area. Thus far, the campaign has been quite successful, and this grant renewal will help the grantee maintain the campaign’s momentum. The grantee will also continue to build its organizational capacity so that it remains a high-performing land trust.
