About this grant
This renewal grant to Jobs for the Future, in partnership with the National Council on Workforce Education, will support a new generation of college innovation building off of Breaking Through. Breaking Through is a national initiative aimed at expanding effective strategies for helping low-skilled, low-income adults enter and succeed in community college occupational degree and credential programs and succeed in the labor market. Portland Community College and the Community College of Denver will implement the final steps in their plans to scale up their successful Breaking Through demonstration projects. Their work will continue to be tracked closely by robust data collection and a rigorous evaluation.
