About this grant

The National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities is a network of community-based organizations led by immigrants from Latin America and the Caribbean, which seeks to build transnational leadership capacity in order to advocate effectively for public policies that address the root causes of migration. This grant will support a capacity-building program for Latin American and Caribbean immigrants, focused on international financial flows and regional integration. This capacity building will include coordinated advocacy, media and communication, and overall public education work around the 50th anniversary of the Inter-American Development Bank, which will be marked in 2009.
