About this grant
The National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities will use the opportunity of the 2008 annual meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank, to be held in Miami, to bring together nongovernmental organizations in the United States, working on international environment and development issues, and Latin American immigrant leaders to address the environmental and social impacts of investments in Latin America. In coordination with other Mott grantees, the grantee will organize a series of workshops leading up to the annual meeting, as well as a public forum during the meeting. In addition, they will work with other nongovernmental organizations to organize seminars and workshop events to be held parallel to the official meeting.
