About this grant
This grant will enable Jobs for the Future to continue to partner with a peer network of six cities in developing a new Back-on-Track school design that provides a pathway to graduation and postsecondary education and credentials for off-track students. In the most recent phase of this initiative, Jobs for the Future worked with stakeholders in Boston, Chicago, Mobile, New York City, Portland, and Philadelphia to accelerate the development and testing of a college-connected school design that builds a bridge to postsecondary access and success and meets the needs of students who are at different points on the graduation continuum. Recommended support will allow the grantee to move to a fully operational Back-on-Track design ready for on-the-ground implementation in cities and states across the country.
