About this grant

This grant will enable Jobs for the Future to assist local intermediaries in Philadelphia, Portland, and Las Vegas in disseminating their best practices and lessons learned in implementing reforms to address the issue of dropouts. Through this project, the grantee will use the documented successes and experiences of intermediaries in the targeted cities to expand the number of communities undertaking efforts to improve the educational outcomes for students off-track for graduation. In addition to developing the capacity of emerging communities in regions where the dropout problem is acute, the grantee will also assist in developing statewide policy strategies in addressing the dropout crisis.
