About this grant
This grant will enable Community Action New Mexico to further its efforts to create a statewide asset-building coalition, thereby establishing a diverse and sustainable structure of partnerships focused on informing and advancing the state asset policies for low- and moderate-income households in New Mexico. Mott funding primarily will support the addition of a staff person to organize nonprofit organizations and other targeted stakeholders around a comprehensive asset-building framework. Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Community Action New Mexico is a statewide, nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the network of community action agencies working to end poverty in New Mexico. This is one of eight grants aimed at building the capacity of state asset-building coalitions to effectively promote the development of state asset policies.
