About this grant
The Isaiah Institute is a multi-issue, community organizing and community capacity building organization working primarily in Louisiana. The grantee works mainly with small, unaffiliated black churches to teach the arts and disciplines of community organizing to pastors so that they can become more effective leaders and advocates for their communities. This grant will allow the grantee to focus on ways to reduce crime and violence in the city.
