Expanded Learning Time

About this grant

This grant increase supports Citizen Schools in its efforts to educate stakeholders about the benefits and challenges of integrating afterschool education with the school day and how expanded learning time can inform educational restructuring. This grant increase will allow the grantee to produce a toolkit to be used as another resource that will help school-based and out-of-school time practitioners take full advantage of expanded learning time initiatives. The toolkit will supplement two reports that discuss issues accompanying expanded learning time and the research impact that expanded learning time has had in pilot schools.
