About this grant
Boston organizing groups have joined with funders to create the Collaborative for Educational Change. Led by Hyde Square Task Force, the purpose of the program is to unite the forces and interests of all the collaborative’s members to work on education reform. Even as the collaborative has worked to develop a shared work plan and decisionmaking system, training in education organizing has continued to be an important aspect of the group’s work. This grant increase supports training and technical assistance to several youth organizing groups in Michigan, including Neutral Zone, Generation of Promise, ACCESS Youth Team, Youthville, Affirmations, Youth Voice, Seaholm High School Leadership and Service, and Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion-Youth Leadership Team.
