About this grant
This grant will enable the Youth Development Institute, a program of the Tides Center, to continue to develop and model a vocational pathway into work and further education for students who have dropped out of school with low academic levels. The institute is New York-based and partners with community-based organizations, schools, and colleges to create programs that help young people transition into adulthood. Continued support will enable the institute to further identify and assess promising academic and career approaches for strengthening the education and career pathways for youth who have dropped out of school and/or are at risk of doing so.
