About this grant
This grant will support the Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University to continue to provide technical assistance through the final phase of the New Day for Learning initiative in Providence, Rhode Island. This project will ensure that the last phase of the New Day for Learning initiative is successful by: 1) providing technical assistance to the Mayor’s Children and Youth Cabinet to sustain the New Day for Learning work beyond the grant period; 2) working with the New Day for Learning evaluator to summarize best practices; and 3) developing recommendations to inform national and state afterschool models.
