Global Finance for Climate Sustainability

About this grant

The Institute for Policy Studies works in collaboration with nongovernmental organizations, academics, and other stakeholders to promote financing for sustainable energy and to address climate change. Over the last grant period, it helped to build important new alliances with the financial sector and other private-sector groups to address the challenge of financing low-carbon development for developing countries, also known as climate finance. This renewal grant will support policy research and civil society coordination on climate finance, the World Bank’s energy lending portfolio, and international energy and infrastructure finance.
