About this grant

This grant will support the Educational Testing Service in its effort to educate scholars, policymakers, and practitioners on leading research, practice, assessment, and ideas for public policy related to supplementary education, including afterschool. Funding will support the grantee’s 12th annual Addressing Achievement Gaps Symposium titled, "After the Bell Rings: Learning Outside of the Classroom and Its Relationship to Student Academic Achievement". The symposiums identify and address important complex education issues that are most challenging to educators, researchers, and policymakers and provide information and ideas for improvement to attendees from around the United States and the world.
