About this grant
Succession planning is a sound risk management practice, critical to ensuring the continued effectiveness of organizations, including coalitions, before and after leadership transitions. Since 1997, through its Executive Transitions program, the grantee has provided succession planning/leadership transition technical assistance to over 400 nonprofit organizations. This grant will enable the organization to deliver such services to the nine state asset policy coalitions the Mott Foundation currently supports. CompassPoint Nonprofit Services is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the impact of Bay Area nonprofit, community-based organizations and the people who work and volunteer for them.
