About this grant

In the southeastern United States, it is necessary to secure sustainable water supplies for healthy aquatic ecosystems and adequate sources of fresh water for society. American Rivers, a national conservation organization with a strong presence in the region, will promote the adoption and implementation of policies that sustain river flows for human and ecological needs, advocate for water efficiency solutions, and encourage water conservation planning at the regional, state, and local levels. American Rivers works with partner organizations in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
