About this grant
This grant will support the development and production of festivals in the Flint business district by the Flint Downtown Development Authority. The mission of the organization is to foster economic development in the city center through partnerships and collaborations. To ensure the economic vitality of the burgeoning downtown merchants, the city must increase and maintain a significant level of patronage, both from local consumers and out-county visitors. The grantee plans to provide high quality entertainment that will encourage more foot traffic and draw additional clientele downtown.
