About this grant
The Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy is a statewide nonprofit environmental organization with a commitment to using law, science, and research to preserve and protect Lake Superior and its connected waterways. With Mott support, the grantee will conduct technical reviews of proposals to mine sulfide-based ores and will provide feedback to the agencies responsible for managing environmental risks. The grantee will also work with partners to improve public awareness of water quality threats and increase citizen participation in public engagement processes.
