About this grant
This grant will support Education’s Next Horizon which coordinates the Louisiana Statewide Afterschool Network. Building on successful efforts to convene policymakers, afterschool providers, youth and families, businesses, school districts, regional funders, state agencies, and youth advocates to formalize a governance structure and decisionmaking process for the network, the grantee’s efforts will focus on building a sustainable state afterschool infrastructure and the capacity to respond to demands for high quality afterschool programs across the state. Lessons learned and products created will be shared with the National Network of Statewide Afterschool Networks.
