About this grant
The Nature Conservancy, a global conservation organization with a deep presence in Michigan, is striving to balance agricultural and environmental needs and improve water quality and quantity in the Saginaw Bay watershed. With prior Mott support, the grantee undertook a number of activities to promote the adoption of agricultural conservation practices, leading to quantifiable reductions in phosphorous and sediment pollution. With continued funding, the grantee will maintain and expand such programs.
