About this grant
The Great Lakes are facing compounding threats from a variety of sources, including polluted runoff, invasive species, and severe rain events. These challenges are too great for any single organization to take on alone. The National Wildlife Federation, a national environmental group with a commitment to the Great Lakes, seeks to strengthen the network of Great Lakes’ organizations working to improve water quality, halt invasive species, and increase funding for habitat restoration projects. With this grant, the grantee will provide small grants, communications assistance, and networking opportunities through the Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition.
