About this grant
The project goal is to build the capacity of the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation to stimulate increased corporate and individual philanthropy in Serbia and to be a leading foundation in the country’s emerging philanthropic sector. During the next two years, the grantee will participate in a newly emerging Serbian donors forum, promote the role of philanthropy among individuals and corporations, build its capacity as a grantmaker, and strengthen board and staff capacities. During 2011-2012, the grantee added key staff positions, strengthened management and governance capacities, developed its first strategic plan, and expanded its individual and corporate donor base. The grantee was established in 2007 and carries out a range of development programs targeting youth, refugees, and internally displaced people and is based in Belgrade, Serbia.
