About this grant
The Michigan Organizing Project was founded in Muskegon in 1991 as an institution-based community organizing group. The organization later expanded to Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo and subsequently developed chapters in small- and medium-sized cities in west and southwest Michigan. This grant will provide partial support for the capacity building and leadership transition activities as the organization prepares for staff transition.
