Expanded Learning and Afterschool Initiative

About this grant

This grant will continue to support the After-School Corporation and the collaborative for building after-school systems in developing expanded learning and afterschool models that engage community partners. In particular, the grantee will provide technical assistance and resources to build awareness and knowledge of the value and assets that community organizations bring to the delivery of afterschool and expanded learning programs. This project will enable the grantee to continue to: 1) support school leaders in harnessing the value and resources that community organizations bring to the delivery of educational opportunities to low-income students; and 2) work to strengthen partnerships that help students stay on track to graduate from high school and be college- and career-ready.
