About this grant
This grant will allow McLean Hospital to support the Program in Education, Afterschool and Resiliency to continue to serve as the lead assessment advisor for the statewide afterschool networks on STEM opportunities in afterschool programs. As part of a comprehensive partnership initiative with the Noyce Foundation, the Program in Education, Afterschool and Resiliency will: 1) continue the study of afterschool STEM programs in at least 11 states; 2) provide technical assistance to participating networks and programs in the areas of data collection and quality assessments; 3) incorporate student outcome measures that are performance-based into the study; and 4) continue to build the capacity of the statewide networks to collect afterschool and youth data.
