About this grant

This grant will allow McLean Hospital to support the program in education, afterschool & resiliency to serve as a lead technical assistance advisor for the statewide afterschool networks on science, technology, engineering, and math opportunities in afterschool programs. The program in education, afterschool & resiliency will provide technical assistance, along with the Afterschool Alliance, as part of a comprehensive partnership initiative with the Noyce Foundation. The overall goal of this partnership project is to increase the availability of high quality, informal science education for students attending afterschool programs, and to increase the number of students who are interested in pursuing careers in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields.
