About this grant
The program goal is to strengthen the voice of civil society from Central and Eastern Europe on the European Union level. To this end, the Environmental Partnership Association, a network of the Environmental Partnership Foundations in six Central and Eastern European countries, will strengthen the collaboration among its members, develop working relationships with peer organizations on the regional and global levels, and strengthen its advocacy work on the European Union level in the areas of environment and civil society. The grantee’s mission is to organize and support the international cooperation of member organizations with the aim to strengthen the contributions of environmental organizations for the sustainable development of Europe. During the past three years, the grantee established its representative office in Brussels to enhance its communications and advocacy work on the European Union level and carried out a number of successful regional initiatives, including the Europe-wide Tree of the Year Award.
