About this grant
American Rivers, a national organization based in Washington, D.C., and with offices in the Great Lakes region, is dedicated to protecting and restoring freshwater resources. With this grant, the grantee will work at the municipal and state levels in the Great Lakes region to promote policies and practices that improve water efficiency, support the use of green stormwater infrastructure, demonstrate effective water conservation and restoration activities, and reduce flooding. A portion of the grant will also be used to support an organization-wide, strategic planning process.
