About this grant
The program goal is to develop community philanthropy and community foundations in Romania. The Romanian Federation of Community Foundations will strengthen its institutional capacity and develop high quality services for its members, support members’ efforts to build long-term assets for a sustainable future, support the development of new community foundations and expanding their membership, strengthen its participation in the international community philanthropy field, and increase the level of resources available for the development of the community foundation field. During the previous grant period, the grantee provided technical assistance and capacity building programs to the 12 member foundations, supported the development of four new community foundations, and raised over $100,000 for networkwide projects. The grantee is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
