About this grant
This grant will support the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s capital campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise $5.25 million to renovate a 62,000-square-foot warehouse facility known as the Hunger Solution Center. The grantee anticipates it will serve more clients each year from 2014 through 2021. The Hunger Solution Center will make it possible for the grantee to distribute more fresh and nutritional produce to its clients as well as provide additional warehouse space to improve the collection, processing, distribution, and repacking of emergency food products.
