About this grant
The grant provides support to the 114th Partnership to conduct an initial assessment as part of a strategic planning process for the Flint Community Schools. The assessment will provide information about the district, as well as recommendations on how to proceed with strategic planning. Comparative data from other districts will provide a framework for better understanding the outcomes that have been achieved for school districts engaged in a strategic planning process. With the assessment, recommendations, and comparative data, the Flint Community Schools can make informed decisions about implementing the strategic, structural, and cultural changes necessary to support college and career-ready goals for students.
