About this grant
This grant will provide support and technical assistance to the superintendent of the Flint Community Schools. The Flint Community Schools have been working on a districtwide turnaround effort with the aim of improving student academic outcomes and gaining financial stability. Ongoing decisions related to student retention, professional development, and improving financial and operating efficiencies require additional administrative support.
