Colorado Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support Civic Canopy to coordinate the statewide afterschool network in Colorado. Over the next three years, the Colorado Statewide Afterschool Network will coordinate a statewide coalition in support of afterschool programs and build a unified vision to inform policy and increase quality afterschool initiatives. During this grant period, the network’s initiatives and priorities will include: 1) developing a network of statewide, regional, and local programs and partners to build public support around afterschool in Colorado; 2) supporting the development of policies that lead to long-term sustainable funding for afterschool; and 3) increasing the quality and success of afterschool programs by creating new professional development opportunities and resources.
