Tennessee Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the United Ways of Tennessee to coordinate a statewide afterschool network in Tennessee. Over the next three years, the Tennessee Statewide Afterschool Network will build a statewide coalition in support of afterschool programs and coordinate a unified vision to inform policy and increase quality afterschool initiatives. During this grant period, the network’s initiatives and priorities will include: 1) creating a sustainable structure of statewide, regional, and local partnerships for impacting policy, decisionmakers, and public will; 2) securing resources to sustain new and existing school-based and school-linked afterschool programming; and 3) implementing new quality initiatives for afterschool programs.
