About this grant

With renewal grant support, the New America Foundation will assess the impacts and effectiveness of grantmaking activities under the access objective and provide learning support to the Foundation and its grantees in order to inform strategic refinements in the grantmaking activities and increase grantee effectiveness. Located in Washington, D.C., the New America Foundation is a public policy institute with the purpose of bringing new voices and ideas to the forefront of America’s public discourse by investing in outstanding individuals and ideas that transcend the conventional political spectrum. Its Education Policy Program uses original research and policy analysis to solve the nation’s critical education problems, serving as a trusted source of objective analysis and innovative ideas for policymakers, educators, and the public at large.
