About this grant
Founded in 1992, Mongabay.org is a leading conservation news web service, specializing in science and environmental reporting about tropical forests, with partnerships for dissemination of material in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. This grant renewal will enable the grantee to continue its coverage of the environmental and social impacts of energy development and finance in the greater Amazon rainforest, and expand coverage beyond Brazil to include four other countries with borders in the Amazon: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
