About this grant
This grant seeks to increase the availability of informal science education for students through afterschool and summer learning programs. Specifically, this grant will support the University of San Diego’s Center for Education Policy and Law to: 1) support the statewide afterschool networks in data collection and quality improvement efforts to increase the availability of STEM afterschool programs; 2) educate leaders at the local, state, and national levels on the importance of STEM afterschool programming; 3) disseminate a publication that highlights quality STEM programs, data, and outcomes; and 4) support technical assistance to the state networks in the area of STEM programming and evaluation.
