About this grant
The project goal is to strengthen nonprofit leadership and increase the level of resources available to nonprofits in Central and Eastern Europe. To this end, the Slovak Fundraising Center will develop and deliver a yearlong leadership development program with a specific focus on local fundraising. During the grant period, the grantee will deliver three cycles of the program to at least 50 nonprofit leaders. In addition, the grantee will support the development of a network for regular exchange and collaboration among program alumni. Also, the grantee will fine-tune the business model of the program to ensure its long-term sustainability. During the past grant period, the grantee’s key project achievements included establishing a diverse and experienced international project team, developing a tailor-made leadership development program for civic leaders in Central and Eastern Europe, and training and mentoring successfully 50 project participants. The grantee is based in Trnava, Slovakia.
