Mississippi Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support Operation Shoestring to coordinate a statewide afterschool network in Mississippi. Over the next three years, the Mississippi Statewide Afterschool Network will build a statewide network in support of afterschool programs and coordinate a unified vision to inform policy and quality afterschool initiatives. During this grant, the network’s initiatives will include: 1) identify and map the out-of-school time programs in Mississippi; 2) establish a representative and durable structure and governance for the network; and 3) develop quality standards to advance out-of-school time programs in Mississippi.
