About this grant
The purpose of this grant is to provide support to Kettering University for renovations and improvements to Atwood Stadium. One of Kettering University’s objectives is to contribute to the economic revitalization of Flint, including the University Avenue corridor which connects the university to other key anchor institutions in the area and is home to Atwood Stadium. Installing updated field turf and improving the infrastructure of the stadium are intended to increase the level and diversity of stadium users, helping to bring additional activity, traffic, and revenue generation to the corridor.
