About this grant
This grant will provide support to the Flint Community Schools to aid in the development and execution of a marketing campaign aimed at retaining and recruiting students to the district, which has become even more important with the issues surrounding the city’s water system. It is critical that the district bolster enrollment figures as it seeks to gain financial stability and improve student academic outcomes. The new districtwide educational plan, newly envisioned community schools model, and an expanded early childhood education program are among the important elements in re-attracting families to the district.
