About this grant
This grant will provide support to the Urban Scouting Program operated by Boy Scouts of America, Water & Woods Field Service Council. The Urban Scouting Program provides Flint area youth with a scouting experience within the school setting during non-instructional hours. The program is designed to improve students’ school performance, personal behavior, communication skills, and access to scouting. Mott funds will help to support a portion of the salaries of a full-time and part-time staff member.
