About this grant
This grant will support data collection and evaluation activities for the Success Beyond High School program area. Brandeis University will help the Foundation track progress under the assets objective, which focuses on integrating children’s savings accounts into postsecondary access and success initiatives, particularly those that aim to improve outcomes for low- and moderate-income students. Initial project activities will focus on collecting field data to establish the evaluation baseline. Thereafter, the grantee will help the Foundation assess progress and impact by outcomes on an annual basis. Brandeis University’s Institute on Assets and Social Policy is dedicated to the social mobility of individuals and families — particularly, those traditionally left out of the economic mainstream — and to the expansion of the middle class. Since 2008, Brandeis University has been an evaluation, learning, and documentation partner to the Foundation on asset-building and savings strategies.
